Humor Garm Got(Sense of Humor in English) founded in 2018, is a contemporary art space that approaches art not as a vehicle for lofty messages, but as an attitude toward living life with joy. With this perspective, the gallery seeks to visualize a positive sensibility toward contemporary art. Its exhibitions focus on experimental and conceptual visual art, embracing diverse formats such as painting, paper installations, and mixed media. True to its name, the gallery’s curatorial direction carries a touch of wit and playfulness, offering visitors fresh perspectives and unique aesthetic experiences. Located near the historic Seoul Fortress Wall in Jung-gu, Seoul, Homor Garm Got may be small in scale, but it provides an intimate environment that highlights both artists and their works.
